Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 October 2026
Eventday (eventday.fyi) hosts event websites — such as wedding websites — for the people who organise them ("hosts") and their guests. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Host accounts: email address (or username), name, a hashed password, and login times.
- Google sign-in: if you choose "Continue with Google", we receive your Google account's email address and whether Google has verified it. We use it only to match an existing Eventday account. We do not receive your Google password, contacts or any other Google data, and we do not create accounts from Google sign-in.
- Site content: text, photos and files that hosts add to their event website.
- Guest replies (RSVP): the name, party size, message and other answers a guest submits on an event website.
- Technical data: IP address for rate-limiting login attempts and basic request logs kept by our hosting provider.
How we use it
- To run event websites and let hosts edit them and see their guests' replies.
- To keep accounts secure (sign-in, sessions, preventing password guessing).
We do not sell personal data, show advertising, or use data for profiling.
Cookies
We use a session cookie when a host signs in, a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in, and a cookie that remembers the chosen language. Public event pages do not use tracking cookies.
Who can see data
- Event website content is public to anyone with the link, unless the host has not published it yet.
- Guest replies are visible only to that website's hosts and the Eventday administrator.
- Data is stored with Cloudflare (Workers, D1 database and R2 storage), which processes it on our behalf.
Keeping and deleting data
Data is kept while the event website exists. Hosts can delete guest replies from their admin page. To delete an account, an event website or a guest reply, email archimedeseurekaz@gmail.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
